"On Friday (3/7/2025), I visited Popeye's in Mineral Wells, TX. I chose to order via the drive thru lane. I intended to order the 8 piece box with all thighs as my husband and I prefer that meat, knowing that's a risk because there may not be that number of thighs available. I asked anyway. Colby made sure I completed my selections because I forgot to make all my choices, i.e., spice level , side, etc. Colby told me that he would check the availability of 8 spicy thighs. After completing the order, I drove around to the first window to pay. I met Colby there and he informed me that a batch of spicy thighs was cooking and would be available in 10 minutes - fresh and hot. Colby, thank you for your kindness and attention to detail while guiding me through the ordering process. You went above and beyond to fulfill my order - you promised 8 hot fresh, spicy thighs and you delivered. You gave awesome customer service and beyond and I thank you!!!"

"I took note of the bad reviews and braced myself for a terrible experience. I got the very opposite. Service was great, very kind and polite, and food was quick, even with fresh chicken that I was informed would be done in just one minute- which it was. Gave me the cheesiest bowl of mac, and the lemonade slushie filled to the rim."

"I was driving through and saw Popeyes and thought I would give the restaurant another chance. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with Popeyes. First off, this location was fast, prompt and courteous when ordering the food. The food came quick and fresh! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the fries were seasoned amazingly. I also spilled my drink and one of the managers, named Lailee, helped me out and gave me a new cup. People were nice and friendly and It just made for the best experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone!"
